Terms of Use

The terms for using this website. Work we do for you is governed by a separate written agreement, not by this page.

01 Who these terms are between

These terms are between you and KommandHub. They apply when you use kommandhub.com.

If you do not accept them, stop using the site. That is the only consequence; nothing here creates an obligation on you beyond using the site properly.

02 What this website is

It is an information site about a software company. It describes what we do, how we work and what we have built.

Nothing on it is an offer capable of acceptance, a quotation, or a commitment to take on work. Prices, timelines and scope are agreed in writing, per project.

Nothing on it is professional advice. The comparison pages, the engineering notes and the process descriptions are our opinion, written to be useful. Do not make a platform decision on the strength of a web page — talk to us, or to someone else, about your actual situation.

03 Work we do for you

If we end up working together, that work is governed by the written agreement we sign — a proposal, a statement of work, a support contract, or a data processing agreement as the case requires. Those documents take precedence over this page in every respect.

Sending us an enquiry does not create a contract, and neither does our replying to it.

04 Using the site properly

Read it, share it, quote it with attribution, print it. What we ask you not to do:

  • Interfere with the site or the infrastructure it runs on, or try to make it unavailable to other people.
  • Use the forms to send unsolicited advertising, chain messages or anything automated.
  • Harvest personal data from the site, including the email addresses published on it.
  • Bypass or attempt to defeat the bot check or the rate limits.
  • Misrepresent yourself or your affiliation with any person or organisation when contacting us.
  • Copy the site's text or design wholesale and publish it as your own.

Security research is welcome and is not caught by the first four points, provided you stay inside our security and disclosure policy. Testing outside it is not authorised.

05 Content on this site

The text, design, layout and code of this website belong to us or to our licensors. Product names, logos and trade marks belonging to other companies — Shopware, Paystack, Flutterwave, Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento and the rest — belong to those companies. We name them to describe what we work with; we do not claim any association with them, and naming them is not an endorsement in either direction.

Quoting a passage with a link back is fine and needs no permission. Republishing whole pages is not.

06 Our plugins and software

Plugins we publish openly on GitHub are governed by the licence file in each repository, and by nothing on this page. Read the licence in the repository you are using — it is the one that counts.

Extensions licensed to you privately are governed by the licence agreement that came with them and by the terms of the store they were delivered through.

Code samples shown on this website are illustrative. They are written to explain an idea, not to compile, and they carry no warranty of any kind.

07 What you send us

When you use a form on this site, please make sure what you send is accurate and yours to send. Do not send confidential information belonging to someone else, personal data about third parties, credentials, or anything covered by an obligation of confidence you owe elsewhere.

Unsolicited ideas, proposals and feature suggestions: we will read them, but we cannot treat them as confidential, and we cannot undertake not to work on something similar. If you have something genuinely confidential to discuss, say so before you send it and we will put an agreement in place first.

If you contribute code to one of our public repositories, that contribution is governed by the licence and contribution terms of the repository, not by this page.

08 Availability and changes

We do not promise the site will be available without interruption. We take it down for maintenance, things break, and providers have outages.

We change the content when it stops being true, and we may change these terms. The date at the top tells you when this version was published. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the version then published; if you do not, stop using it.

10 No warranty for the website

The website and its content are provided as they are. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement in relation to this website.

This exclusion is about the website. It has nothing to do with the warranties in a contract for work we do for you, which are set out in that contract.

11 Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of data or business interruption arising from your use of this website or your reliance on anything published on it.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you deal with us as a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected by anything on this page.

12 Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Lagos State have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your own country, or of the right to bring proceedings there.
